Mindfulness, top tips.

  1. Notice your breath take a few minutes, feel its flow where it starts and finishes, the rise and fall of the abdomen and the pause at the end of the breath.

  2. Pay attention to what you are doing NOW, tune into your body.

  3. Notice what you are doing as you are doing it and tune into your senses.

  4. When you are walking, tune into how your weight shifts and the sensations in the bottom of your feet.

  5. Take some time to simply be.

  6. When your mind wanders to thinking, gently bring it back to your breath.

  7. Recognize that thoughts are simply thoughts; you don’t need to believe them or react to them.

  8. Listen without making judgments.

  9. Notice where you tend to zone out to, bring yourself back to the present moment.

  10. Spend time in nature.
