This is what we have done, my vegetable patch is full of red-currents and black-currents these are the beautiful flavors of summer.
Breakfast in the garden, taking that all important 'me time' to relax and enjoy good food and good company. Breakfast on one of our Retreat mornings comprising of oats layered with home made mixed berry compote, yogurt a little honey and some almonds all made the night before allowing the fresh berries to mingle their flavors with the other ingredients.
Smoothies, also made from our own fruit, deliciously rich berries mixed with banana, almond milk a pinch of cinnamon, a few dates and a teaspoon of raw honey.
I believe in nourishing our visitors from the inside out, a good breakfast that feels indulgent but is also healthy, setting us up for a day of Meditation, Yoga, plenty of Walking and Relaxation.
